The type of fashion in the early years of the 19th century brought a lot new, after the First World War. You can call this period a ‘Flapper Period’ in terms of costumes and with this, comes the image of being modern, but this was restricted to the rich woman only. Later, the middle class also adopted the flappers in their clothing style, as the home dressmakers could easily make it. No other progress in fashion took place in the early years of nineteenth century, except for flappers. The short hair was in, during the 1920s. The most interesting thing about fashion of 1920s was that, the application of makeup was not done in powder rooms, but in front of people, as it was a part of fashion at that time. The Emo is also a fashion related term, a slang that is used simply for punk fashion. It includes tight jeans for both males and females, and tight t shirts with the name of rock bands. The Emo’s are considered as non-fashionable.

The trend changes with time, but the term ‘fashion’ itself remains fashionable all the time.
